Two things that jump out about this restaurant are: (1) There is an incredibly dedicated, detailed owner named Steve and (2) There is wood in the fire.

Many restaurants try this special pizza, however this is the only true victory in the arena. Nowhere else in South Florida, will you find a more crispy, bountiful, or perfect pie. Years of dedication are obvious from the first bite. The selections are boundless. You must try the Goat Cheese and Sun-dried Tomatoes, or the Chicken Parmesan Pizza laden with enough chicken to cover the whole pie. The flavors pop in your mouth and will truly mesmerize you. You will not be able to resist, and I warn you it can be addictive.

Steve’s offers sensational salads, which is how I like to start. The Caesar is cold, crisp, abundant with a very fresh tasting dressing, and they offer nice fat anchovies if you like. The Oriental Chicken Salad with crisp noodles and a marvelous Sesame Dressing makes a great light meal on its own.

Delicious specials like Veal Meatball and Sausage and Peppers are just a few offerings which I highly recommend.

This is not your typical pizza joint. Steve’s is a great Gourmet adventure into the world of true Italian Wood-Fired Pizza. It’s a wonderful oasis, in otherwise desert of mediocrity. Go there, enjoy, and thank me later!

Steve’s Wood Fired pizza is the best thing that has happened to this Italian pie in all of South Florida! Moving from New Haven Connecticut in the early 90’s I could not find a pizza in Florida that came close to those extraordinary pizzas made on Wooster St., New Haven’s “Little Italy”. Anyone who has eaten in any of those pizzerias knows what I hungered for! But... then I stumbled into Steve’s Wood Fired Pizza and I was Home!
